Weekend of R&R
After a stressful week of school, I took it easy this weekend. I saw a play with my family on Saturday, which was very fun. I also did some video edits for a video that you will see in the near future. Overall, it was very relaxing weekend.
I will be going to mastering this Tuesday for Success Is Intentional. I'm pretty excited about this mixtape. Being my worst critic, I have things I don't like about it but that's only because I'm a huge perfectionists. If it was up to me, the mixtape won't be out until 2010. But I have to let you guys hear what Team Danami has been working on since the summer. Get ready guys, 11/16 will be here in no time!

Soul Men
I got out for a little bit after some studying over the weekend. I managed to head to Target to buy a couple of movies to jump start the week ahead. One of the three (3) movies I purchased was Soul Men starring Samuel Jackson and Bernie Mac. There was tons of funny moments through out this movie. Just hearing Bernie and Sam cussing the way they did was too funny. If you get a chance to see this movie you should, it's a great film. R.I.P Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes.
This week is the week of midterms. I have two (2) midterms on Monday, following the days after. It's going to be cool to take a break from school after midterms. I'll be able to get some stuff done for the release of Success Is Intentional.

Lisa Banton
I was browsing myspace when I came across Lisa Banton, a songwriter and vocalist. The Toronto, Canada native currently released her first collection of work entitled, Mirror Mirror R&B Mixtape Vol.1 (click link to download).
From start to finish this mixtape is dope. There is so much great content and emotion over Hip-Hop beats from artists like T.I, Jay-Z, Young Buck, E-40, and much more.
