Actor Kevin Costner will be assisting BP in the cleanup of the oil spill. In the past 15 years, Costner has spent $20 million in developing centrifuges, a machine with a rapidly rotating container that separate fluids of different densities. The device was tested by BP and was proven a success as cleanup technology. Since the trail runs, BP is ordering 32 more of the Costner endorsed centrifuges to aid the Gulf cleanup. Way to go Costner for investing your money into good.
