You have had such a great impact on our students no matter what capacity you have served us in at Washington and with the Get Ready! Program. The students and families that you have touched with your performances has extended far beyond the walls of our school and people are spreading the word about you as this amazing rising star.  Our students and staff are so grateful for the work you do and for the genuine person that you are with your willingness to get to know people and being open to share your own life story–the good, bad and ugly.  – Nina Englund, Education Liaison for The Get Ready! Program at Washington

Danami spoke to our youth in ways they could relate to. He told his truth, and in doing so, engaged them to reflect on their own lives with humor and encouragement. What amazed me, also, was his ability to weave original music into his message–an intricate task which he made feel effortless.  Danami is a force for good. – Tobias Leuthner, Education Liaison for The Get Ready! Program at Washington
