SHOW RECAP: Big Quarters, K. Raydio & Danami @ Cause

My ego was crushed. Granted, I don’t have a huge ego, but the fact that I’ve rocked and killed three shows this month (before this one), and get here to have an ok reception is hurtful. It makes you think you didn’t do a good job or what you did wasn’t good enough. As an entertainer, I know when I kill the stage. But if people aren’t in tune, your personal accomplishment and success dwindles. The crowd is everything! Without them there is no show.

Overall, it was a good set though. I performed to the best of my ability and some. People did enjoy it. I even got a few names on the mailing lists. Unfortunately, you can’t have a rock star show every performance.

K. Raydio on stage singing her heart out to the crowd. Her music is a nice blend of R&B and J.Dilla.

Big Quarters set was dope. That was my first time seeing them perform a whole set. It was great! Benzilla and Noam the Drummer provided the MPC beats and scratches during their set.
